Offered here is an authentic pair of early 20th-century women’s lace-up leather boots, dating to the Edwardian / World War I era (circa 1905–1918).
These boots exhibit all the correct period characteristics: a tall, narrow shaft with closely spaced eyelets, pointed toes with stitched cap detailing, and stacked Cuban heels. Constructed entirely of leather, including the soles, they reflect the quality and craftsmanship of pre-1920 footwear, before mass-produced rubber soles and modern synthetic materials became standard.
The interior retains its original factory size and production stamps (250 / 9143 / 545), typical of the period and not a later reproduction marking. No modern branding is present, which is correct for boots of this age.
Condition is very good for over a century old, showing expected wear, creasing, and surface scuffs consistent with honest use. The leather remains supple, structurally sound, and visually appealing. They have not been over-restored and retain an attractive original patina.
Ideal for:
Antique fashion collectors
Period costume or film wardrobe
Museum or decorative display
Edwardian / WWI historical collections
These are genuine period boots, not reproductions.
