Large Bill Campbell Seagrove NC Crystalline Pottery Bowl 12” Collector Corner CC1463 2006 One-of-a-Kind
Offered is a striking large studio pottery centerpiece bowl by Bill Campbell of Seagrove, North Carolina, one of the best-known pottery communities in the United States.
This bowl was created for the Campbell Pottery Collectors Corner program and is documented with the original provenance card. The piece is marked on the base CC1463 and dated November 1, 2006, identifying it as a one-of-a-kind collector example.
The bowl features dramatic crystalline glaze development, with large natural zinc crystal formations appearing as white “bloom” patterns across a warm amber ground. The interior displays a deep flowing glaze in shades of blue, black, and amber, pooling toward the center where the crystalline firing process creates a natural glaze well. Each crystalline firing produces unique patterns, making every piece distinct.
The bowl is substantial in scale and beautifully thrown with a thick rolled rim and deep interior, ideal as a centerpiece display piece.
