Large and visually striking studio art pottery centerpiece bowl made by Bill Campbell Studio Pottery.
This exceptional freeform bowl features a dramatic flowing blue-black crystalline glaze with organic feathering effects throughout the interior and exterior. The hand-formed asymmetrical shape and sculpted spiral center give the piece a strong mid-century modern studio craft aesthetic.
The bowl displays beautifully and has substantial presence at approximately 11inches across and about 5 inches tall.
The underside bears an impressed studio cipher mark along with form number “236/750.”
The glaze work is particularly impressive in person, shifting between deep midnight blue, charcoal, and lighter crystalline highlights depending on lighting.
